Overview dashboard presents a consolidated view of the D2C eCommerce essential metrics. Ideal for daily and weekly operations steering.

Dashboard Elements

KPI Indicators

  • Average Basket Size: Average basket size tells the average count of products per order over the current period. The change is relative to the selected comparison period. Source: Shopify
  • Revenue: Sum of orders' total price over the selected current period and the percentage change relative to the selected comparison period. Source: Shopify
  • Orders: Count of orders over the selected current period and the percentage change relative to the selected comparison period. Source: Shopify
  • Average Order Value: AOV is calculated by subtracting the total tax-free discounts from the gross sales in the selected current period and then dividing it by the number of orders. This metric is displayed alongside its percentage change relative to the selected comparison period. Source: Shopify
  • Customers: Customer count in the selected period. The reported change is relative to the selected comparison period. Source: Shopify
  • Conversion Rate: The conversion rate is calculated as the amount of transactions divided by the session count. The change is presented as absolute change instead of relative change; -0.12 points change means that the value has changed, for example, from 1.52% to 1.40%. Source: Google Analytics

Monthly Revenue Comparison 

  • This visualisation shows the monthly revenues for the current year (YTD) and for the previous year for the selected store(s).
  • The revenue is the sum of orders' total price, i.e. it includes discounts, taxes and shipping but no returns. The dashboard element is not affected by the date filters.
  • Source: Shopify (revenue)/user input (targets)

Cumulative Revenue Comparison 

  • This visualization shows the cumulative revenue for the current year (YTD) and for the previous year for the selected store(s).
  • The revenue is the sum of orders' total price, i.e. it includes discounts, taxes and shipping but no returns. The dashboard element is not affected by the date filters.
  • Source: Shopify (revenue)/user input (targets)

  • KPIs on store level. See the tooltip of the corresponding KPI above for the definition of the measure.

  • Most sold product categories by products' selling price (subtotal).
